We've had two of the 29 inch water launchers for our pool for awhile - they are so much fun! But they were a little long and awkward for our 4 year old to handle. Just bought two 12 inch ones and they are perfect. Just as much fun but easier for the little one to handle. So glad we purchased. Great quality. Thinking of buying a couple more to take to the lake house.

I learned about Stream Machine on a recent rafting trip, and had so much fun using their launcher that we had to purchase some for home. I ended up purchasing eight four 35 inch launchers, and four 12 inch launchers, and despite the grief I caught from my wife for purchasing that many in her defense, we don't even have a pool, I don't regret it one bit. We just filled a couple of buckets, and we've had some awesome water fights! Most importantly, when one of the eight guns that arrived appeared to have a small defect, customer service quickly sent a replacement. I would definitely recommend Stream Machine, although maybe consult with your better half for input on the appropriate number of launchers for your family's needs.
